Costume Gallery > Snow Princess Hayane
Character:
Snow Princess Hayane, Shining Hearts video game
Owned by:
Private collection of Laina Martin
First worn at:
Designed to the NINES, 14th annual NBCCD fashion show
I don't know much about this character or this game. It was (sadly) only released in Japan. I do know the Snow Princess is apparently a hidden character you can unlock, and the game was released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) by Sega.
My model (who is also the owner of this costume) chose the Snow Princess when I asked her to pick a character of her choice which I would make into an actual costume for her for the fashion show. She had seen some other characters from Shining Hearts when the Volks company (maker of ball jointed dolls) released two dolls based on the Shining Hearts game, and was intrigued by the character designs.
The costume is made up of a pair of culottes (shorts that look like a skirt), detached kimono-style full sleeves, a flared vest, collar-shaped choker, pink sash and a fully boned corset.
